“Tân Bao Thanh Thiên” dài 40 tập là phiên bản mới nhất về vị quan thanh liêm đời nhà Tống do Hong Kong, Đài Loan và Trung Quốc hợp tác sản xuất. Nam diễn viên kỳ cựu Kim Siêu Quần sẽ tiếp tục hóa thân thành Bao Công, nhân vật đã làm nên tên tuổi của ông trong nhiều năm qua. Đặc biệt, sau gần hai thập kỷ gắn bó với vai diễn này, Kim Siêu Quần quyết định tự tay chuyển thể bộ truyện nổi tiếng “Thất hiệp ngũ nghĩa” thành kịch bản phim.
Phiên bản mới này sẽ pha chút yếu tố thần thoại - liêu trai từ việc Bao Chửng do Văn Khúc Tinh đầu thai đến chi tiết hồ ly dâng ngọc quý đền ơn cứu mạng. Ngoài ra, vụ án “Ô bồn ký” còn tô điểm thêm cho giai thoại dân gian “Bao Công ngày xử án dương gian, đêm xử án âm phủ”.“Tân Bao Thanh Thiên” có nhiều đổi mới về mặt nội dung, như giải thích rõ xuất thân của từng nhân vật. Bao Chửng từ một quan tri huyện, nhờ tài phá án giỏi mà được thăng cấp làm Phủ Doãn phủ Khai Phong. Những nhân vật quen thuộc như Trương Long, Triệu Hổ, Vương Triều, Mã Hán, nam hiệp Triển Chiêu cũng được nhắc qua về nguồn gốc, mang đến nhiều nét thú vị cho người xem.
Đặc biệt, sau nhiều tranh cãi kịch liệt về thần tính và nhân tính của vị quan nổi tiếng này, cuối cùng Bao Chửng cũng được… yêu. “Những tài liệu chính sử lẫn dã sử cho thấy Bao Công từng có thiếp và con trai nối dõi. Vì thế, chúng tôi quyết định làm mới tác phẩm này bởi câu chuyện tình yêu nhẹ nhàng, kín đáo của Bao Chửng dành cho một người a hoàn trong gia đình”, Kim Siêu Quần giải thích. Tình yêu giữa họ dẫu đẹp nhưng lại có kết thúc buồn, làm người xem xúc động.
Thành công của loạt phim về Bao Thanh Thiên có sự góp sức không nhỏ của bộ ba Kim Siêu Quần, Hà Gia Kính (vai Triển Chiêu) và Phạm Hồng Hiên (vai Công Tôn Sách). Họ đã tạo nên hình tượng kinh điển về Bao Công, Triển Chiêu và Công Tôn Sách, khó có thể thay thế được. Trong “Tân Bao Thanh Thiên”, cả ba đều giữ được phong độ ổn định, riêng Triển Chiêu Hà Gia Kính tỏ ra sâu sắc hơn trong diễn xuất. Phim còn có sự tham gia của Trần Hạo Dân, Vương Sa Sa, Trương Bội Bội...Với kinh phí đầu tư lên đến 30 triệu nhân dân tệ, “Tân Bao Thanh Thiên” có cảnh quay đẹp, hoành tráng với những kỹ xảo 3D ứng dụng cho những màn võ thuật và tái hiện lại bức tranh hùng vĩ của Đại Tống từ hàng nghìn năm trước.
